The exposition “Nature of Transcarpathia” is located in four halls, highlighting the geographical location, geological structure, minerals, minerals of the region, etc.
Among the minerals, the “Maramoros diamonds”, garnet crystals, rhodonite, ungvarite, etc. are of interest.
In the section of the exposition dedicated to ancient geological eras, there is a tuna fish imprint, the age of which exceeds 30 million years, bones and teeth of a mammoth, a cave bear, and imprints of tree leaves.
Separate halls are dedicated to the fauna and flora of the plain, foothills and mountainous zones of Transcarpathia.
Visitors are attracted by tree sections, in particular a 360-year-old western plane tree, herbariums of medicinal and other plants, wet preparations of fish, amphibians and reptiles, and a rich collection of stuffed animals and birds.
