The exhibition “Transcarpathia between the Two World Wars” covers the period from 1914 to 1938. It presents the collapse of Austria-Hungary, the consequences of the First World War, and the economic situation in our country, which led to the liberation struggle of 1918-1919. It demonstrates the process of the emergence of the new Czechoslovak state, to which Transcarpathia was included as an autonomous region. The economic, political, and cultural development of the country during this period is shown.
